SUL460

SUL460 PCB Magazine Unloader

SUL460 PCB magazine unloader for SMT and THT lines: boards up to 530×460 mm, 2 magazines, 10–40 mm pitch, 30 s magazine change, SMEMA. Same-day quote.

SUL460 PCB Magazine Unloader – Unloader in a factory

Let finished boards stack themselves.

The SUL460 takes boards from the end of your SMT or THT line and pushes them into magazines automatically, with two magazine positions, selectable pitch and a 30-second magazine change.

Handles boards from 50×50 to 530×460 mm. Transfer direction and pitch are set to your line.

At a glance

  • 530×460 mm — maximum PCB size
  • ≈6 s — PCB unloading time
  • ≈30 s — magazine change-over
  • 2 × 50 — boards in two magazines
  • 300 VA — max power consumption

End-of-line handling is still done by hand

A fast line ends with someone catching boards. These are the costs that brings.

  • One operator just catching boards: Someone stands at the end of the line only to collect PCBs.
  • Dropped and scratched boards: Manual handling causes drops, scratches and component damage.
  • ESD risk at every touch: Each hand transfer is a chance for electrostatic damage.
  • Line stops when nobody is there: Breaks and shift changes stop the line because boards pile up.
  • Messy WIP between processes: Loose boards on carts make counting and tracing hard.
  • No clear status: Without alarms, a full magazine or jam goes unnoticed.

Why the SUL460 keeps your line running — Feature, Advantage, Benefit

Six functions that take people out of end-of-line handling.

Capacity: Boards up to 530 × 460 mm

Large magazines.

  • Feature: Handles PCBs from 50 × 50 to 530 × 460 mm in 535 × 530 × 563 mm magazines.
  • Advantage: Large panels and small boards run on the same unit.
  • Benefit: One unloader for your whole product range.

Key points: 50×50–530×460 · Magazine 535×530×563 · Min 0.4 mm PCB

Magazines: Two magazines, 50 boards each

Upper and lower positions.

  • Feature: Two magazine positions (upper and lower), about 50 boards per magazine, magazine change in about 30 seconds.
  • Advantage: The line keeps running while a full magazine is swapped.
  • Benefit: Fewer stops and less operator attention.

Key points: 2 magazines · 50 PCB each · ≈30 s change

Pusher: Regulated pneumatic pusher

Gentle, centred push.

  • Feature: Pneumatic pusher with regulated pressure, adjustable to the centre of the magazine.
  • Advantage: Boards are pushed in smoothly without impact.
  • Benefit: No damaged boards or components at the end of the line.

Key points: Regulated pressure · Centre adjustable · 4–6 bar air

Pitch: 10–40 mm pitch selection

Matches component height.

  • Feature: Pitch selectable at 10, 20, 30 or 40 mm (or specified).
  • Advantage: Tall-component boards and thin boards both fit the magazine.
  • Benefit: Use one unloader for SMT and THT boards.

Key points: 10/20/30/40 mm · Custom pitch · ≈6 s per board

Control: PLC with soft-touch panel

Sound-light alarm.

  • Feature: PLC control, soft-touch LED membrane panel and multi-item sound-light alarm.
  • Advantage: Operators see status and faults immediately.
  • Benefit: Fast reaction to jams and full magazines.

Key points: PLC · Soft-touch panel · Alarm tower

Line: SMEMA, 900 mm transport height

L→R or R→L.

  • Feature: Transport height 900 ± 20 mm, left-to-right or right-to-left, 110 or 220 V single phase, 300 VA max.
  • Advantage: Drops into standard SMT and THT lines.
  • Benefit: Low running cost and a simple installation.

Key points: 900±20 mm · L→R / R→L · 300 VA

Frequently asked questions

Which board sizes fit?

50 × 50 mm up to 530 × 460 mm. Smaller lines can use the SUL250, SUL330 or SUL390.

Can it be used after wave soldering or AI machines?

Yes. Transport height is 900 ± 20 mm and direction is selectable; tell us the height if your AI line differs.

What magazines does it use?

Standard 535 × 530 × 563 mm magazines, two positions (upper and lower).

What utilities are needed?

110 or 220 V single phase (300 VA max) and 4–6 bar compressed air, up to 10 L/min.

How fast do we get a quote?

Send your PCB size, BOM or component list, target output per shift and destination country. We reply within 2 hours in working time and quote the same day; a free live demo with your own components can be arranged before you order.

What about installation, training and spare parts?

Installation and operator training are included in the project plan (on site or remote). Spare parts ship from Shenzhen, and our engineers give a remote diagnosis and fix plan within 3 days.
